Now realized Live recording and transmitting of 3D HDTV!!

This equipment is 2-picture synthesizer to make 3-dimentional high definition picture. 3D Side By Side Encoder can make one 3-dimentional high definition picture by compressing 2 pictures (L channel and R channel) into the horizontal direction. 3D Side By Side Decoder can separate one 3-dimentional high definition picture to 2 high definition pictures conversely.

By using this equipment, real time synthesizing of 2 pictures from 2 high definition cameras became possible and a standard high definition recorder can record the 3-dimentional video signal with keeping synchronization. This is also useful for transmitting a stream of 3-dimentional high definition live video.
Input/output is HD-SDI only.

3D Side By Side Encoder Unit
2 high definition pictures from 2 cameras become one high definition compressed into the horizontal direction by 3D Side By Side Encoder. As this picture can be recorded as a standard high definition video signal, one set of high definition VTR can record this signal. Live display can be displayed by connecting Xpol 3D monitor.


3D Side By Side Decoder Unit
3D Side By Side Decoder can separate the recorded picture compressed by 3D Side By Side Encoder to 2 original high definition pictures.
